About Us

The Trans-Siberian Travellers Club is a newly founded society for people with an interest in train travel. Although many regard the "Trans-Sib" as the greatest rail trip in the world today, there are in fact so many other great journeys to be made across the globe. Our name is taken from "the big one", but our members are interested in the possibility of adventure on every rail route.

We are an online community with no formal headquarters. This means we can support our members throughout the world without the costly overheads of many famous travel clubs and institutions. The club is run from within the United Kingdom in the tradition of an exploratory society.

We want to make the Trans-Siberian Travellers Club the "go to" place for discussion and planning of rail journeys. To be the spark, and the inspiration for travel, backed with the expertise and knowledge from our members who wish to actively help and support those around them.

We welcome new members, no matter what your interests are or your travel experience. We wish to help those on their first trip, but also to help promote and raise the profile of the modern generation of railway explorers who push the boundaries of what constitutes a rail adventure.
